Privacy Policy

The data controller is AP Education (Anuradha Perera), Sri Lanka. WhatsBiz Suite is the messaging platform AP Education uses. It was developed and is maintained for AP Education by PIXEL GARAGE.

• Name, WhatsApp phone number, and class details such as grade, subject and batch year.
• Parent or guardian name, where provided.
• Where your number came from (for example, a registration form) and when you agreed to receive messages.
• Messages we send you, their delivery and read status, and messages or button replies you send to us.
• Your opt-out status, if you reply STOP.

• To send AP Education updates and offers, such as new classes, admissions, seminars and registrations.
• To answer your questions and replies.
• To respect your choices, including never messaging you again after you opt out.
• To keep our messaging safe and within WhatsApp's rules (for example, limiting how often you receive promotions).

Messages are delivered through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta processes message data to deliver messages and report their status, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. WhatsApp messages between you and AP Education are not end-to-end encrypted in the same way as personal chats, because a business platform is used to send and receive them.

AP Education staff sign in to WhatsBiz Suite with Google. We receive only their name, email address and profile picture from Google, and keep a record of actions they take in the platform (for security and accountability). A session cookie keeps them signed in; no advertising or tracking cookies are used.

We never sell or rent your information. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run the platform: Meta (WhatsApp delivery), our hosting provider, and PIXEL GARAGE for maintenance and support, all of whom may use it only for that purpose.

Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive further promotional messages from AP Education. You'll receive one confirmation. Reply START if you want to receive messages again.

We keep contact details while you are a student or have shown interest in our classes, and message records for up to two years for reporting and accountability. Opt-out records are kept so we can keep honouring your choice. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Access is limited to approved AP Education staff. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), WhatsApp access keys are stored encrypted, and every important action is logged.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop receiving messages. Contact AP Education directly, or reply to any of our WhatsApp messages.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
