Terms of Use

AP Education · WhatsBiz Suite · Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms apply to WhatsBiz Suite, the WhatsApp messaging platform operated by AP Education. They cover staff who use the platform and people who receive messages from it. By using the platform or receiving our messages, you agree to these terms.

1.The service

WhatsBiz Suite lets AP Education send WhatsApp messages about classes, admissions and registrations to students and parents, using Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform, and reply to their questions. It is a private tool for AP Education and is not offered to the public.

2.Who may use the platform

  • Only staff approved by AP Education may sign in, using the Google account the owner has added.
  • Accounts are personal. Do not share access or let others use your account.
  • AP Education may change or remove access at any time; removed users are signed out immediately.

3.Acceptable use

Staff using the platform must:

  • Message only people who gave their number to AP Education and agreed to receive messages.
  • Never import bought, scraped or unrelated phone number lists.
  • Keep messages honest and relevant, without misleading claims, and always include a way to opt out.
  • Respect opt-outs. Never try to message someone who replied STOP.
  • Follow WhatsApp's Business and Commerce Policies and Meta's terms.
  • Not try to bypass the platform's safety limits (daily caps, sending hours, automatic pauses).

4.Receiving our messages

If you are a student or parent, you receive messages because you shared your number with AP Education. Reply STOP at any time to stop promotional messages, or START to receive them again. Standard WhatsApp data charges from your mobile provider may apply. Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is used.

5.Message costs

Meta charges AP Education for delivered WhatsApp messages at its published rates. These charges are paid by AP Education and are never passed on to students or parents. Cost estimates shown in the platform are guides; Meta's invoices are final.

6.Meta and WhatsApp

WhatsApp, its approvals (such as templates and display names) and its limits are controlled by Meta, not by AP Education or the developer. Meta may review, reject, pause or limit messages or accounts under its own policies.

7.Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, including outages at Meta or our hosting provider.

8.Data and ownership

Contact lists, messages, templates and reports in WhatsBiz Suite belong to AP Education. The platform software was developed by PIXEL GARAGE, which maintains it for AP Education.

9.Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as a tool to support AP Education's communication. To the extent allowed by law, neither AP Education nor the developer is responsible for indirect losses, or for delays or failures caused by Meta, WhatsApp, mobile networks or other third parties.

10.Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

11.Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to AP Education directly, or by replying to any of our WhatsApp messages.
